About the Event
Witness the story of a Greek Coast Guard Captain attempting to save thousands from drowning in the Aegean Sea in the Oscar -nominated film, 4.1 Miles. Then, follow a young Syrian family rebuilding their life in Chicago in From Damascus to Chicago. Finish the evening by engaging with refugees, educators, and activists from around the world, while hearing their personal stories & insights on the global refugee crisis.
