One Journey Soccer Fest 2024

The One Journey Soccer Fest is back on June 8, 2024 in partnership with District Sports and Soccer Without Borders. Join us at Cardozo High School in DC for an afternoon of the beautiful game, including an adult tournament, a youth soccer clinic, and numerous opportunities for refugees and members of their host communities to build mutual understanding, respect, and friendship. Every refugee, every displaced person, has a unique story to tell, but all are on one journey. It’s a journey we all share – to seek lives of hope and peace for ourselves and our families. To share and celebrate these many paths, One Journey amplifies the voices of refugees and strives to build a coalition of enduring community allies using culture, storytelling, sports, and technology to engage people and facilitate connections.

Together, we can build connections and raise awareness for the DC area's refugee community!

Basic Tournament Details

• Date: 6/8/2024
• Time: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• Price: For teams of adult refugees, there will be no registration fee (a discount code is available) / For non-refugee teams price is $200 per Team/ $20 per Free Agent.
• Capacity: 8 Teams (Two 4-team divisions). Most teams bring 8-10 players with 3 games guaranteed.
• Format: 6v6 coed (no gender based roster requirements)
• Gameplay: Each team will play 3 guaranteed games, round-robin style, with the top two teams of each division advancing to the knockout stage!

Note: The youth clinic soccer program being hosted in the same location from 1:30-3:30pm is free and does not require advanced registration.
